How to create a screenshot via your iPhone

In some cases, it may be necessary to make a recording of your screen, for example to send it to others. As with other devices, it is also possible to take a screenshot on your iPhone. For this, you only need the appropriate key combination.

1. To create a screenshot on your iPhone, you need to press the power button and the home button at the same time. After that, you will see the screen become bright for a short time. This will let you know that a screenshot of the screen has been taken. In addition, you will hear a beep.
2. In newer devices, there is not always a home button. For example, this is the case with the iPhone X. Here you press the power button and the volume up button at the same time. Subsequently, a beep sounds here as well. In addition, the screen becomes brighter.
3. Once the screenshot is created, the recording is saved in your photo folder. You can get to this via the photo app.
4. In some apps, the screenshot function is blocked for security reasons. This is especially the case with banking apps.
