ID3 is a format for metadata. These are usually additionally in an audio file, if this is available as MP3. An information unit of the metadata is called an ID3 tag. These tags can be edited or deleted. You can also do this on the Mac.

How to edit ID3 tags on Mac

If you want to edit the metadata information units, you can do it on your Mac.

1. Start your Mac and open iTunes.
2. Then highlight the music file from which you want to edit an ID3 tag.
3. Now click on the item "File" and then "Information".
4. Under "Details" you will find the ID3 tags of the song. Here you can also edit them.
