SoundCloud: Add tags - how to do it

Creating playlists is very popular on SoundCloud. By tagging your playlists, other users can follow you even more easily. Tags are common all over the Internet and serve as keywords. For music, this principle works as well.

With tags you assign suitable keywords to your playlists.

SoundCloud: Set and save tags - this is how it works

On SoundCloud you add tags to your playlist. This makes it possible for other people to find your tracks faster and identify what kind of music they are. You can create tags in a few steps.

1. You can already add tags when uploading tracks and playlists.
2. To do this, enter the appropriate in the tab "Basic Info" under "Genre". Below you will also find a field labeled "Additional tags". Here you can enter various tags. Each tag you must provide with a "#" symbol.
3. If you want to add or change tags later, then this is also possible.
4. Call SoundCloud the "Playlists" area.
5. Open the playlist that you want to provide with tags. Click on "Edit." Here you will also find the tab "Basic Info" or "General Information".
6. Save the changes afterwards.

The tags have now been added and your playlist can be found in the tag search via the matching terms. Conversely, you can of course also start the tag search and find new playlists. Just enter the desired terms in the search box.
