Snapchat: Change font - is it possible?

If you don't like the font set in Snapchat, you can set a different design for your messages. If you are using the latest version of the app, changing the font is possible directly in Snapchat.

How to change the font in the Snapchat app

For a long time, it was only possible to change the font in Snapchat by changing the entire system font of your smartphone. Since an update of the popular app, however, you can now customize the font design more easily.

1. First, open the Snapchat app and take a photo as usual.
2. Then press anywhere on the smartphone screen to activate the keyboard.
3. Since the update, a new bar can be found above the keyboard where you can select a new font for your Snaps.
4. Swipe to the left to select a font you like, then use the keyboard to type a message.
5. Adjust the brightness and color of the font if necessary, and send the Snap to your friends by tapping the blue button.
