Snapchat on PC - is it possible to use?

So far there is no official app from Snapchat to use the messenger service on the PC as well. However, by installing third-party apps, this is still possible on computers with Windows as the operating system.

How to use Snapchat on Windows PC

By default, Snapchat can only be used on smartphones and not on PCs. Nevertheless, to use the app on PC, you need an additional app. Depending on whether you have Windows 7, 8 or 10 as your operating system, this works with the apps AndY or "Specter".

1. If you are using a computer with Windows 7 or 8, first install the free "AndY" app on it.
2. Then open this and log in with the user data of your Android account to search for the Snapchat app in the integrated Play Store and download it to the PC by clicking on "Install".
3. The use of Snapchat on the Windows 10 PC works again with the help of the app "Specter". This costs 1.49 euros and simulates all Snapchat functions on the PC.
4. Even if the use of Snapchat is possible with the help of additional apps, there may be problems, because Snapchat acts against third-party apps.
