Phoenix Point: All info on the Steam release - DLCs included

When Phoenix Point was initially released exclusively by Epic Games in December 2019, this once again triggered anger among Steam fans. In the meantime, however, the deadline has passed and the game has found its way to Steam.

Even better than XCOM? Phoenix Point could fully convince players and the trade press.

Phoenix Point comes from Snapshot Games and follows the principle of the extremely popular XCOM series.

Phoenix Point: Steam release directly as a Special Edition

Phoenix Point is available on Steam since December 3, 2020. This is the Year One Edition:

• This includes in addition to the main game a whole three DLCs.
• These are called "Blood & Titanium", "Legacy of the Ancients" and "The Living Weapons Package".
• Also included is the package "Digital Extras", which includes things like the digital soundtrack, desktop wallpaper and the compendium.
• In addition, one benefit of the wait for Steam players is now apparent: there have been numerous updates with fixes, improvements, and new content since Epic Games released the game.

For Tactics fans, then, the Year One Edition is in a sense a reward for the year-long delay.
