Twitch: Mod commands - these are the commands you should know

When using the chat feature on Twitch, you have a variety of commands available to you, such as showing you information about the moderators in the channel. Depending on whether you are a user, moderator, or broadcaster, there are other commands you can choose to use.

These commands are available on Twitch as a mod

If you are a mod, i.e. a moderator, on Twitch, different commands are available to you than if you are a user or broadcaster. Using the "/mods" command will also show you all the moderators within the channel. You have to replace the terms mentioned in the <> with the corresponding users or timeouts.
  1. With "\timeout <user>" you can ban a user from the chat for 10 minutes. Optionally, it is possible to enter your own time specification, using "\timeout <user> <time>". To ban the user completely, use "\ban <user>" or "\unban <user>" to allow him again.
  2. Enter "\slow <seconds>" or "\slowoff" respectively. So it is possible to set in which time periods users can create a chat message.
  3. If you want only subscribers, mods and broadcasters to use the chat, then enter the command "\subscribers".
