In the world of Valheim you can find silver in the snowy mountains. However, this does not turn out to be very easy - and this is not only due to the temperatures.

Valheim: How to find silver

Because silver veins run under the surface and are therefore invisible. On good luck, the chances are therefore extremely low to find silver.

• The means of choice is therefore the divining rod. For this you must have defeated the bone boss in the swamp biome.
• With the dowsing rod you can see by a green glow that something is hidden in the ground. Here you can then get going with the pickaxe (this must be at least made of iron).
• In this way you can find buried treasure in addition to silver.

Also remember that the conditions in the mountains are extremely hostile to life. Frost resistance is almost mandatory, in a pinch you can warm up at a campfire.
