If you use a Samsung terminal device, you must always register with an email address and an associated password. This is the only way to get the support that Samsung can give you as a host. However, if you ever forget the password, the first thing you need to do is reset it.

The essential thing for a new password is to have your registered email address or your own user ID and enter it. After that, the process is very simple.

1. Open the website of "Samsung" (link: www.samsung.de) on your PC or smartphone. On smart TVs Samsung does not offer this service so far.
2. Click on the option "Login" and wait until the window for it opens.
3. Below the line where you need to enter your password, you will find the button "Forgot user ID or reset password". Click on it.
4. Now you need to open the email service responsible for the address you have stored in your Samsung account.
5. You will receive an email from Samsung within a few minutes. Open it and click on the link it contains to reset your password.
6. Now enter your new password twice and confirm the process.
7. Now you can log in with your new credentials.
