WeShare: VW car sharing costs and pricing models

With WeShare, Volkswagen entered the car sharing business much later than BMW and Mercedes-Benz. Because of its focus on electric cars, the service was nevertheless able to grow quickly. We show the costs.

Fair electric fun: at 19 cents per minute, WeShare is pretty cheap.

A city like Berlin is perfect for car sharing. Fair prices are an imperative part of reaching the target group.

WeShare: Transparent costs for easy calculation

The pricing of WeShare in Berlin currently looks like this:
  • The price per minute is 19 cents.
  • In addition, 1 euro is incurred per rental as a flat fee. This serves the insurance: If it comes to an accident, your deductible is a relatively low 450 euros.
  • When stopping 5 cents per minute.
