The announcement of PUBG: New State the following info was revealed:

• PUBG: New State is the sequel to PUBG Mobile.
• The game will be released for iOS and Android.
• This is to be done according to the free-to-play model - consequently, there is no purchase price.
• The success factors of PUBG serve as the basis, in addition, new features are to provide fun and excitement. Also fresh vehicles belong to it.
• Location of the action is a fictional place called Troy in the year 2051.

It is thus also storywise a continuation of the franchise. More specific info on the release date is not yet known, but it is expected with the end of 2021.
