Gmail: Send scheduled mails - How it works

If you wish, Gmail will send your finished emails only at a time you set. This feature is called scheduled mails, and our guide explains the steps to make it happen.

Exact timing: scheduled mails are sent automatically by Gmail.

Dealing with your own Gmail account, which is integrated into your Google account, is basically easy. However, some additional functions that are not so quickly apparent are all the more practical.

Gmail: How to send scheduled emails

Scheduled mails you set as follows:
  1. Compose the mail normally.
  2. Instead of "Send" then click on the small arrow to the right directly next to it.
  3. There you can select "Schedule Send".
  4. Then you can select the date and time as desired.
  5. With "Schedule Send" you complete the process.
Thereupon you see the mail already like a sent mail, but with the clear indication for which time the sending is planned.
