An overheated laptop is a real problem in many ways. Not only does the use of the laptop become nearly impossible at this point, but the case also gets so hot over time that you can even burn yourself. If your laptop overheats more often than not, you need to take immediate action.

1. If your laptop overheats strongly and depending on the hardware gets hotter than 90 or 100 degrees Celsius, there is a problem.

3. Also, on your CPU chip, the thermal paste may be too old and brittle in the meantime, so that heat can no longer be transported away well.
4. Also, covered fans, such as by a blanket or a cloth, prevent warm air from the case to the outside.

1. To counteract overheating, you should first make sure that your fans are free of dust.
2. If this is not yet the case, open the case and clean the fans by hand.
