If you need additional storage space, it is worthwhile to first search for duplicate files in order to eliminate them afterwards. In Windows 10, you need a third-party software for this.

1. First, download the software Anti-Twin and follow the instructions to install it.
2. Start the program to start the investigation. At "Base Folder", enter the folder you want to scan for duplicate files. The "Select folder" button allows you to select a folder from your hard drive. Here it is quite possible to select another folder.
