The Boaboa are a Grymalkin people in the Hoarfrost Range. You will recognize the cats by their wintry outfit.

MHW Iceborne: How to make friends with the Boaboa

After you meet the Boaboa in the Hoarfrost Reach for the first time, you will be given a critical mission.

• During this one, the Boaboa will come to your aid. Afterwards, you have a meeting with the Grymalkines at a hot spring.
• As a result, you get an optional quest. In this you have to hunt a Beotodus (here are tips on this); a Boaboa troop helps you.
• The reward is a new Palico tool, with which you can request more animal support.
• In addition, there are Boaboa tickets. You get these for various missions.

The tickets are ingredients for various weapons (both for yourself and for the Palico), armor pieces and pendants. These are not particularly high level, but are aimed more at the beginning in Iceborne.
