With the help of an app, you can transfer your contacts to a special file format that can be read by other devices and automatically import the contacts.

1. First, download and install the app Easy Backup.
2. Once the app is launched, confirm access to your contacts by selecting Access Contacts and tapping "OK".
3. Now tap "Next" and then tap the large backup icon in the middle of the screen.
4. Select "Email" so you can send the file you just created to your email address.
5. Once the file is sent to your email, you can already open and download it on the other device.

iPhone X: Export contacts via iCloud

1. If you plan to use your contacts on another iPhone anyway, you can also use iCloud.
