Shortcut for "Rename" - how to quickly change the name

To keep track of the numerous files and programs on your PC, it is usually worthwhile to assign your own names. You can usually specify these when you first save the file. However, if you want to change the name later, select the "Rename" option.

You can give files a name or label when you first save them. This allows you to recognize the contents without having to open each document first. If you have already given an existing document a name, but would like to rename it again, you can do so using the Rename function. To do this, right-click on the document and select "Rename" from the context menu that opens. After you have entered a new name, press the Enter key.However, if you want it to be faster, simply use a shortcut to rename the file.

1. First you need to select the file you want to rename. Dies erfolgt durch einen Klick mit der linken Maustaste auf die Datei.
2. Drücken Sie anschließend die F2-Taste auf Ihrer Tastatur.
3. Nun können Sie einen neuen Namen für Ihre Datei eingeben. Sobald Sie die gewünschte Änderung vorgenommen haben, betätigen Sie die Enter-Taste, um den Vorgang zu bestätigen.
4. Die Datei wurde nun umbenannt.
