2020 was the year of deliveries - above all food found its way to the doorstep more often than ever before. With Gorillas, there is now another specialist that advertises enormously short delivery times.

Berlin is the city of Spätis. These are so popular because they are open almost around the clock. With the Gorillas app, you can order spontaneous purchases directly from the supermarket to your home.

The Gorillas app appeared in 2020 and was able to win customers right away.

• Gorillas delivers food from the supermarket, not ready-made dishes from restaurants, as it operates Lieferando.
• While Gorillas advertises a delivery time of about ten minutes by bicycle courier. This also applies until late at night and on Sundays, which makes the app particularly interesting.
• To be able to keep this promise, however, you see in the app far from the same selection as in the real supermarket. After all, many important staples are included.
• Pricewise, the products are at the level that you also find in the supermarket.
• The order is placed via app, which is available for Android and iOS.
• For now, Gorillas has only started in Berlin and even there only in particularly dense areas, such as Prenzlauer Berg and Friedrichshain.

By the way, Gorillas has not invented this principle new: The model comes - as so often - from the US and is called goPuff. Which growth plans Gorillas in Germany pursues, is currently not yet known.
