TeamSpeak 3: Update - this is how the update works

TeamSpeak 3 normally notifies you about updates. However, if you have disabled automatic updates, you will have to make sure that the program stays up-to-date yourself. This works either via the client itself or by downloading the latest version from the net.

How to update your TeamSpeak client

To avoid security holes and other problems, it is important to keep your software up to date. Follow these steps to update your TeamSpeak 3 client:

1. Open TeamSpeak 3.
2. Click on the "Help" item in the navigation.
3. There, select the "Check for updates" option. The client will now check if there is an update available.
4. If there is an update, click on the "Update" button to run it.
5. Before the installation, you may have to accept the T&Cs and agree that TeamSpeak may make changes to your PC.

The update will then be installed and your TeamSpeak client will be up-to-date again. If it is too annoying for you to check for updates yourself every time, you can also re-enable the automatic update in the program settings.

Update TeamSpeak 3 manually

If for some reason the automatic update via the TeamSpeak client fails, you can also do the update manually. To do so, simply download the latest version of TeamSpeak and install it on your system.
