Connecting Surface Pro 6 with Samsung TV

The Surface Pro 6 is the new Surface tablet from Microsoft. It has an 8-core CPU and uses the Windows 10 operating system. Of course, you can also connect the tablet to a TV. To do so, simply go to the display settings of Windows 10.

How to connect the Surface Pro 6 to your Samsung TV

In order to connect your Surface Pro 6 to a Samsung TV, the TV must support the Miracast feature. This is a streaming standard that almost all newer devices support. Also, the TV should have a connection to your router.
  1. On the tablet, first open Devices by swiping inward from the right corner of the screen.
  2. Now go on to "Project" and then "Add Wireless Display".
  3. Select your Samsung TV in the list of wireless displays.
  4. Now follow the instructions.
  5. You can choose to use the new screen (Samsung TV) to expand the current display, duplicate it, or display it only on the TV.
These instructions will work with any device that uses Windows 10 as its operating system. So you can also stream the display of your PC to the TV. Both devices just need to be connected to the same network. The display should then be automatically found by Windows 10.
