Connecting Surface Pro 6 with projector - that's possible
You can watch numerous movies and videos on your Surface Pro 6. If you want to project the content onto a screen via a projector, that is also possible. For this, you need to connect your Surface Pro to the beamer and set it up. You will need the appropriate cable.
How to connect a projector to your Surface Pro 6
If you connect your Surface Pro 6 to a projector, you can project the tablet's content onto a screen. For this, you usually need an additional cable.- The Surface Pro 6 has a Mini DisplayPort, which you cannot connect the connection cable to directly. Usually, an HDMI cable is used to connect the projector. For this reason, you need a suitable adapter to connect the two ports. Alternatively, an HDMI to DVI adapter can also be used for the connection.
- In contrast, if you want to connect an analog projector to your Surface, you will need a suitable VGA cable. Since the port on the Surface Pro 6 is missing here as well, you will need a mini DisplayPort to VGA adapter. If you have to bridge a longer distance, you can use a mini-DisplayPort extension cable with a length of about 3 meters. You can already get this for under 10 euros in various specialty stores or in corresponding online stores.
