Dropbox: View free storage

With Dropbox, you can access a cloud-based storage service online through your browser and view your files from anywhere. To keep you informed about how much storage space you have left, Dropbox presents this information to you graphically.

How can you view the amount of free space you have?

In Dropbox, viewing free space is very simple.
  1. Go to the Dropbox website and log in.
  2. Click with the mouse on your own profile picture and then continue to "Settings" and then "Account".
  3. Under your email address, you can now see how much storage space you still have available.
  4. If you use a smartphone and the Dropbox app to find out the storage space, simply click in this on the three horizontal lines in the upper left corner. Now you can see the occupied memory in percent on the left.
  5. Use the desktop app, open it by pressing the Dropbox icon in your taskbar.
  6. In the window, go to the top of the gear icon. This opens a drop-down menu where you can see at the top how much memory is used. The figure is in percent and must be converted by yourself. To do this, you should know what memory is available to you.
