How can I transfer Norton to another PC?

When you purchase a Norton product, you receive a certain amount of licenses to protect multiple devices from viruses. If you have no more free license and still want to protect another PC, this is possible by transferring the license. We show you how this works.

How to transfer Norton to another PC

If you would like to use Norton on another PC but do not have a license left for your product, you can transfer it to the other PC. Please follow the steps below to transfer Norton to another PC:

1. Log in to Norton, navigate to "Device Security" on the page and search for the device whose license you want to transfer.
2. Then click the ellipsis under the device name and select "Manage License" from the menu.
3. On the "Manage Device" page, go to "How would you like to proceed?" > "Uninstall Norton product" > "Next" and confirm the uninstallation by clicking "Yes".
4. Now select that you would like to install Norton on another device by clicking "Send link".

How to install Norton on another PC

To complete the transfer of the license to another PC, please log in to your Norton account on that PC. Then click "Download Norton" and select "Agree and download" under "Install on this device". Now save the downloaded file still on your PC, run it and follow the instructions to install.
