Why can't I open Kaspersky?
If you have Kaspersky installed on your computer to protect it from malware, the program can usually be opened simply by double-clicking. If this is not the case on your device, it may be due to an outdated version of the software.

By default, you open Kaspersky by double-clicking the Kaspersky icon on the desktop with the left mouse button. However, if the shortcut is not displayed on the desktop, the program can alternatively be launched via Windows Explorer. To do this, first open it by simultaneously clicking the "Windows key" + "E". If you cannot open your installed Kaspersky product using any of the methods described above, this may have several causes. If the message "Preparing to launch the program" appears briefly when you try to start the program, try to fix the startup problems by restarting your PC.- If the program still fails to open, this may be because you are using an outdated version of Kaspersky.

- Uninstall the old program version then from your device, making sure that the checkbox license information in the window "Save objects" is selected.
