Connecting Honor View 20 with PC - how it works

To transfer files such as photos, videos or documents from the Honor View 20 to the PC, you need to connect both devices. The connection can be established both wirelessly and via USB cable. We provide an overview of the respective procedures here.

How to connect Honor View 20 to PC via USB cable

To exchange files between your Honor View 20 and PC, you need to connect the two devices beforehand. This can be done both wirelessly and wired using a USB cable.

1. If you want to connect the Honor View 20 to the PC via USB cable, please connect one end of the cable to the Honor smartphone and the other end of the cable to a free USB port on the PC.
2. On your Honor View 20, then navigate to "Settings" > "Touch for more options" and select a connection method.
3. Depending on the type of files you want to transfer, tap either "Transfer photos" or "Transfer files" there.

Connect Honor View 20 to PC: How to use Huawei Share

Without using a separate USB cable, connecting the Honor View 20 to the PC is also possible via Huawei Share. To use this wireless method, you have to activate Huawei Share under "Settings" > "Device connection" > "Huawei Share" beforehand and make sure that both devices are connected to the same WLAN network. If this is the case, please open the network folder of your PC and double-click "Name displayed on computers" to confirm the connection establishment.
