MHW Iceborne: How the Safi'jiva weapons work
Safi'jiva is the adult form of Xeno'jiva and in some aspects accordingly similar. However, the event itself is more akin to Kulve Taroth - and even more special are the weapons.
In this guide, we have already explained the basics about awakened weapons. Since Safi'jiva has also arrived on PC since March 2020, further details now present themselves.MHW Iceborne: Safi'Jiva weapons with special upgrade system
Safi'jiva is fought in sessions with 16 players. As in Kulve Taroth, four groups of four enter the battle at the same time.- After completing the siege, you will get drakolytes in the first reward window, and in the second there are the new weapons. Of these, you may choose up to four pieces.
- Importantly, the current weapon affects the selection in the reward window. It is enough to switch to the desired type of weapon after the fight before you pick up the rewards.
- All Safi'jiva weapons have five slots for revival. In each of these slots you can add a skill or a skill improvement via upgrade at the blacksmith.
- For this you need drakolytes. Which skills you distribute in the slots via revival depends on the weapon and the build. Values such as attack power or affinity can be increased as well as set bonuses or bow rifle skills (such as the reload assistant).
- All five skills can be upgraded gradually, which requires more and more drakolytes. One of the five skills you can even bring to an even higher level. However, this should be well considered.
- More Drakolyten you can get at the Verschmelzita by melting Safi'jiva weapons that you do not need.
- Additionally, you can melt Safi'jiva materials. In return, you will receive one weapon at a time. Before that, however, you should build the armor; afterwards, you no longer need the materials for other purposes anyway.
