How to use a URL shortener on LinkedIn

The automatically generated URL of your public profile on LinkedIn is often very long and bulky, and is poorly suited for inserting into documents in this form or for sharing with others. For this reason, you can customize the URL and also change it again regularly. For this purpose, it is recommended to use your name or other characteristics to make it as catchy as possible. In addition, you have between 5 and 30 letters or digits enough leeway for your individual URL.

1. First open LinkedIn.
2. Then switch on the home page on the icon for "You", which is located in the upper bar.

6. Verändern Sie den hinteren Teil der URL und passen Sie ihn nach Belieben an Ihre individuellen Wünsche an.
7. Mit einem Klick auf „Speichern“ ist Ihre URL nun angepasst.
