iPhone SE wireless charging - How it's possible

The iPhone SE does not have the inductive charging feature, unlike the iPhone 8 and Apple Watch, but there are still ways to charge your iPhone SE wirelessly. The second-generation SE, on the other hand, supports inductive charging and can therefore be charged wirelessly directly.

iPhone SE: Use Qi technology for wireless charging

The first-generation iPhone SE does not support wireless charging because the device lacks the hardware to do so. However, you can upgrade this feature as needed.
  1. One option is to buy an iPhone Qi receiver. Together with the appropriate Qi wireless charger, you can charge your iPhone SE wirelessly.
  2. Apple itself offers a Lightning Dock Station as an accessory to the iPhone SE, with which you can charge your device. The iPhone is thereby during the charging process upright in the dock.
  3. Also a Battery Case with integrated battery matching the iPhone SE can be used for charging.
2020 appeared the second generation of iPhone SEs. This model supports inductive charging. Thus, you do not need any additional hardware for the iPhone SE 2. Only a corresponding charging mat is necessary.

How long the iPhone SE battery lasts without charging

How long the battery of your iPhone SE lasts depends on the type of use. In standby mode, your iPhone SE has a runtime of up to 10 days. If the battery is fully charged, you can talk on the phone for up to 14 hours with 3G. Around 13 hours of Internet use are possible with WLAN or 4G LTE, and still up to 12 hours with 3G. You can also play videos for up to 13 hours and listen to music for around 50 hours.
