iPhone SE wireless charging - How it's possible
The iPhone SE does not have the inductive charging feature, unlike the iPhone 8 and Apple Watch, but there are still ways to charge your iPhone SE wirelessly. The second-generation SE, on the other hand, supports inductive charging and can therefore be charged wirelessly directly.
iPhone SE: Use Qi technology for wireless charging
The first-generation iPhone SE does not support wireless charging because the device lacks the hardware to do so. However, you can upgrade this feature as needed.- One option is to buy an iPhone Qi receiver. Together with the appropriate Qi wireless charger, you can charge your iPhone SE wirelessly.
- Apple itself offers a Lightning Dock Station as an accessory to the iPhone SE, with which you can charge your device. The iPhone is thereby during the charging process upright in the dock.
- Also a Battery Case with integrated battery matching the iPhone SE can be used for charging.
