Return Lufthansa miles - so you don't lose a flying mile
If you travel the world a lot on business or simply like to discover new countries, the "Miles & More" program can be worthwhile. The miles you earn are worth cash - which is why it's also worth adding miles that weren't immediately credited. With Lufthansa, this is quite simple.
When can you add Lufthansa miles?
Miles & More offers its participants a wide range of awards for their air miles. They can use them to book more flights cheaper or more conveniently, store or even donate them to aid projects. It is definitely worth adding miles if they do not automatically appear on your mileage account. If the miles don't show up in your account immediately after you arrive, don't worry. Lufthansa points out that mileage crediting can take up to seven days. Generally, it is possible to have airline miles retro-credited within six months of your flight departure - so you don't have to hurry excessively. What are the options for retro-crediting?Depending on which airline you were traveling with, there are different procedures for claiming airline miles. These are the options:Online form: For most partner airlines it is possible to reapply all accumulated miles, using an online form. To do this, log in to your Miles & More account. Here you fill out the form with information about your flight, which usually comes from the booking confirmation.- Not only for flights with airlines, but also for other Miles & More partners, there is an online form on the website to request the subsequent crediting of miles. This applies, for example, for booking hotels with Avis and Best Western or rental cars from Sixt and Europcar.
