1. Enter "cmd" in the search field at the bottom left and confirm the entry with the Enter key.
2. Click in the list of results with the right mouse button on the entry "Command Prompt".

4. After the console has opened, you can enter a command. Now write "net stop wuauserv" and confirm with the Enter key to execute the command.
5. The running update is then canceled.
