Change your AOK address online: How to do it

You should notify your health insurance company of a change of address in good time. At the AOK, you can use an online form for this purpose. For this you need your insurance number, your card identification number and the expiration date of your insurance card. Enter the date of your move as the start of the change of address.

Change your address with the AOK

After you move, officially re-register at the citizens' office in your area. However, the Bürgerbüro does not report the change of address to your insurance company. You must therefore apply to the AOK for a change of address yourself so that your mail is sent to the new address. Make this change well in advance of the move and indicate the date from which mail must be sent to the new address. This will help you avoid important mail arriving late or being accepted by others. You can easily apply for the change of address via the AOK website.

How to make the changes online

1. Open the AOK website.
2. Select "Benefits & Services" in the bottom menu.
3. Click on "Services".
4. Select "Online Branch".
5. Click on "Name and address changes at AOK PLUS".
6. Markieren Sie oben die Option „Hiermit beantrage ich eine Adressänderung“.
7. Wählen Sie das Änderungsdatum.
8. Geben Sie die Versichertennummer, die Kartenkennnummer und das Ablaufdatum Ihrer Versichertenkarte an.
9. Geben Sie die Mail-Adresse ein, mit der Sie sich bei der AOK-Plus registriert haben.
10. Wählen Sie „Weiter“.
11. Geben Sie die alte und dann die neue Adresse ein.
12. Bestätigen Sie die Änderungen.
