How to put your iPhone 7 into maintenance mode

If you can no longer start your iPhone 7 in the regular way, then the maintenance mode can help. To put your device into the state, you need the latest version of iTunes on your computer. If necessary, update the software before proceeding. You will also need a Lightning cable to connect your iPhone to your computer.

1. Now connect your iPhone 7 to the computer.
2. Next, launch iTunes on the PC. However, turn off your iPhone 7. While doing so, press and hold the power button. Slide the slider to the right.
3. Next, press and hold the Power button and the Volume Down button on the left side of the smartphone at the same time.
