Printing a ruler - what you should pay attention to

If you need to measure something, using a ruler is a good idea. Most of the time, you will have a suitable ruler at home at all times. However, if this is not the case, you can also print out a ruler. Here, however, you should pay attention to some points so that the measurement result is not falsified.

How to print a suitable ruler

When printing the ruler, it is important that it has the exact size, otherwise the measurement will not be possible with it.

1. Go to the website https://www.lineal-drucken.de/ (Link: https://www.lineal-drucken.de/) and download the template by clicking on "Download & print ruler now".
2. It is best to use a thick paper for printing, so that the ruler does not slip later. Of course, you can also print the ruler and then stick it on a piece of cardboard or thick paper.
3. Once the download is complete, open the file with Adobe Acrobat Reader. The file should be in the download folder. To open it, type "PC" in the search bar at the bottom left and click "This PC". In dem Explorer-Fenster finden Sie den Download- Ordner auf der linken Seite.
4. Nachdem Sie das Dokument mit dem Adobe Reader geöffnet haben, klicken Sie mit der Maus oben links auf „Datei“ und dann weiter auf „Drucken…“.
5. Im Druckmenü müssen Sie nun noch die Option „Tatsächliche Größe“ aktivieren. Diese finden Sie unter „Seite anpassen und Optionen“.
6. Klicken Sie zum Abschluss unten rechts im Fenster auf „Drucken“. Das Lineal wird nun ausgedruckt.
