ELEX is an action role-playing game in which you will meet various NPCs at times. In the dialogs, you also have various decision options. Depending on what you choose, your cold value will increase or decrease. But what influence does the value have in the game?

What does the cold mean in ELEX

In the action role-playing game ELEX, you meet various NPCs. In addition to merchants, there are also some people with whom you have dialogues that can influence your cold value. Depending on the answers you choose, your cold value can increase or decrease. The value is especially important in the later course of the game, for example, to unlock special skills.

1. The cold value usually increases with rational answers, while this decreases with more emotional decisions. So it is a kind of morality system that reflects your humanity in the game.
2. Depending on how high or low this value is, you can thus unlock special abilities that fit this play style. If your cold value is between 0 and 20, your magic, psi and style duration will be improved, while if it is between 40 and 60, your melee damage will be improved. Liegt dieser zwischen 80 und 100, wird der Fernkampfschaden verbessert.
3. Außerdem ist es möglich, durch einen bestimmten Kältewert auch alternative Enden für das Spiel freizuschalten.
4. Bei der Kälte handelt es sich nicht um „Gut“-gegen-„Böse“-Entscheidungen.
5. Zudem erhalten Sie während des Dialogs die Meldung, ob Ihr Kältewert gestiegen oder gesunken ist.
