Stardew Valley: multiplayer mode thanks to update 1.3

The multiplayer mode was rolled out via update at the beginning of August 2018. At first, only PC, Linux and Mac were served, the console versions had to wait a little longer. In the meantime, however, users of PS4, Xbox One and the Nintendo Switch can also enjoy the multiplayer mode. Only for the mobile version of Stardew Valley there is still no multiplayer mode.The update 1.3 is available via the platforms Steam and GOG.

  • Scores from the multiplayer beta phase, which began at the end of April, can be transferred.

Multiplayer mode: more innovations for Stardew Valley

The implementation of the multiplayer function was undoubtedly the highlight of Update 1.3. In addition, there are many other features, such as new character events, three new monsters, the ability to change the profession, new indoor grain and freely placeable items. Since update 1.5, there is even the possibility to play Stardew Valley with up to four people in split screen. So those who have taken a break from Stardew Valley now have plenty of reasons to get back into it.
