An e-scooter is an electrically powered pedal scooter. For some time, this is increasingly used in German cities. Would you also like to be on the road with the e-scooter, then it is first necessary to buy a suitable vehicle. The costs can be different.

These are the costs you have to pay when buying an e-scooter

Depending on the quality, e-scooters can cost more or less. Here, the area of application plays a major role. Do you want to use the e-scooter very often and for longer distances or only occasionally and briefly? Furthermore, the question arises whether renting a scooter is not cheaper.

1. Generally, it is cheaper to buy an e-scooter instead of renting it. Do you ride your e-scooter to work every morning for about 15 minutes and back in the evening? Then this costs you with a rental scooter about 1,000 euros per year.
