Excel: Count X - how to get the count

In Excel, you have various functions available to format and analyze the information in your table. For example, if you have marked various cells with an "X", you can easily count the number of those cells with the right formulas.

How to count all "X" in Excel

If you want to perform calculations and analyses in Excel, this is possible with various formulas. For example, if you have marked certain empty cells with an "X", then you can also count them with a suitable formula. This way you can find out the exact number of cells that contain an "X" character. For this purpose, you can also use the function bar to write the formulas.

1. First, select an empty cell where you want to write the result of the formula. Click on it to select the cell.
