How to connect the Sky Q receiver to the WLAN
In order to use the full range of Sky Q, it is necessary to connect the Sky Q receiver to the Internet. The fastest way to do this is wirelessly via a WLAN connection. To establish this, first make sure that the Wi-Fi function is activated on the router. Then turn on the receiver and your TV and press the "Home" button on the Sky remote control. From there, navigate to "My Sky Q" > "Settings" > "Status" > "Network Connection" and follow the further instructions on the screen. This helps if Sky Q does not connect to the WLAN
If the Sky Q receiver has successfully connected to the WLAN, you will see a check mark next to the "Network Connection" entry under "My Sky Q" > "Settings" > "Status". If this is not the case, there may be several reasons for this.- First check whether the wireless function is switched on at the router and make up for this if necessary.
- If a wireless connection is not possible despite activated function, try it with a restart of the router or a reset of the device.
- Alternatively, you can also connect the Sky Q receiver by cable to the router. To do this, plug the supplied network cable into the green Ethernet port on the back of the device.
