Home Office Fails: The Funny Pitfalls of Working from Home

Corona has forced many people to work from home offices. Especially in video conferences, it often becomes clear that work and private life are not always compatible. However, situations often arise that are easy to laugh about.

Funny home office fails

Whether on Zoom, Microsoft Teams or Skype, the number of fails during a video conference is even inexhaustible:
  • No pants on: During the interview of a US reporter, he probably underestimated his camera. In the live broadcast, you could see the journalist's bare legs, which caused a lot of laughter in social media.
  • Filter fails: you change the background with teams or zoom very easily. Sometimes, however, the filters do not do what they are supposed to. The chairwoman of a political organization in the U.S. even turned into a potato with it.
  • Microphone Fails: An unintentionally turned off microphone is probably one of the most common fails during a virtual meeting. Even the German Chancellor Merkel happened this fail during a video conference with the WHO chief. Embarrassing, but funny!

When suddenly the whole family appears in the home office

Although already a bit older, the home office fail of a professor of politics during a live circuit on British television is one of the classics. There, both toddlers rashly stormed into the office during the interview.
