Civ 6: Rise and Fall - Expansion in Check

Civilization 6 was released at the end of 2016 and managed, just like its predecessors, to raise the bar of turn-based building games a good bit. After numerous updates, the first major expansion called Rise and Fall also followed. The expansion offers numerous innovations.

In Rise and Fall, the developers show themselves to be very generous when it comes to innovations.

Civ 6: Rise and Fall brings many new features

The Civilization series has been known for its highly addictive nature for years, and the sixth installment is no exception. Rise and Fall is a great expansion, as numerous new features are on board:

• Diplomacy has been expanded and improved.
• There are two new ages (dark and golden).
• Cities get a loyalty value.
• You can earn era points through over 100 historical moments.
• Governors enter the Civ stage as new characters.

The release was on February 8, 2018, and you can get the game as a digital download code on Steam or on sites like mmoga.net. Since February 14, 2019, there is also another expansion available, namely "Gathering Storm". Depending on the platform, you can already buy this in a bundle. For the PlayStation, for example, it costs about 40 euros. Additionally, you can buy various Scenario Packs and new civilizations, such as Poland, Australia or the Vikings. You can also purchase the expansions individually.
