Destiny 2: How to make the Steam move
Although Destiny 2 was released back in 2017, the MMO shooter is still very popular and the supply of new content is not stopping. As of October 1, 2019, the PC version of Destiny 2 is no longer playable via the battle.net launcher. The move to Steam, however, was announced not too long before.
Destiny 2: New heights thanks to Steam?
Destiny 2 is a first-person shooter in which you will encounter, among other things, numerous fancy and strong enemies with your friends. While you could already play Destiny 2 since 2017, this has only been possible via Steam since 2019. You can play the shooter for free, but there is a lot of content that you can buy additionally. Besides co-op missions and a PvP mode, the game also has an interesting story to offer. Have you played Destiny 2 before the Steam move, there are some points to note since then.- Who owned Destiny 2 before, could transfer the game to Steam, including all game saves and content. However, some successfully completed loot moves are excluded from this (Crucible, Gambit and Vanguard). However, the move was only possible until October 1, 2019; after that, even old players will have to start over.
- If you do not yet own Destiny 2, you can get started on Steam with the new free-to-play version Destiny 2: New Light. This includes the main game and the first two DLCs (Curse of Osiris and War Spirit), but not the expansions Forsaken and Fortress of Shadows.
- The latter is an expansion that has been available on Steam since October 1, 2019 for 24.99 euros. Forsaken is also available for 24.99 euros.
