Samsung Galaxy A80: Technical data at a glance
In July 2019, the new Galaxy A80 celebrated its market launch as Samsung's new mid-range flagship. In the Android smartphone segment, the Galaxy series enjoys great popularity, which is mainly due to the good technical features of the smartphones in combination with good pricing.
All important specs at a glance
The Galaxy A80 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 processor and has 8 gigabytes of RAM.- In terms of storage, the smartphone is equipped with 128 gigabytes of memory, but this cannot be expanded since the device does not have a microSD card slot.
- One of the smartphone's big features is the 6.7-inch (17.03 cm) AMOLED display, which is even bigger than that of the Galaxy flagship S10 Plus, which only has a 6.4-inch screen diagonal. The resolution of the screen is 2400 x 1080 pixels with a pixel density of 392 PPI (pixels per inch).
- The battery holds 3,700 milliamps according to Samsung and has a runtime of up to 13 hours.
- The main camera is a triple camera, consisting of a 48-megapixel wide-angle lens in combination with an 8-megapixel sensor for wide-angle photos and an extra lens for depth of field. A special feature is that the main camera is also the front camera of the A80. Namely, at the push of a button, the rear part of the A80 extends and the camera rotates by 180 and can thus be used for selfies.
