How to connect your TikTok account with Instagram

TikTok normally does not allow external links. However, you still have the option to link other social media channels to your TikTok account via the profile settings. Follow these steps to link your TikTok account to your Instagram account:

1. Open the TikTok app or log in to the TikTok website with your user information.
2. Go to the profile overview and tap or click the "Edit Profile" option.
3. Scroll down to the "Instagram" option and select it.
4. Now enter the login details for your Instagram account and press "Sign in" to connect the two accounts.

Once the accounts are connected, a link to your Instagram channel can be found on your profile. In addition to the Instagram account, you can also link a YouTube channel to your TikTok account.

If you want to remove the connection between your Instagram and TikTok accounts again, this also works via the profile overview.

1. Go to the profile overview in TikTok again and select the option "Edit profile".
2. Scroll down to the item "Instagram" and tap or click on the Instagram account name and finally on "Confirm" to disconnect.
