Android: Install operating system under Virtualbox
Virtualbox is software that allows operating systems such as Android or Linux to be installed and run on your Windows computer while Windows is still running. For various games and applications, this is a very useful feature.
Installing Android under Virtualbox - here's how
To install the operating system in Virtualbox, you first need the software. Download it here and install it on the computer.- To install Android in the software, you need the appropriate ISO file, which you can download here.
- Now start the software and create a new virtual machine of type "Linux" with a 32-bit version.
- Allocate a RAM size of 512 MB and a hard disk size of 8 GB.
- Start the machine and select the ISO file for Android.
- Now select the entry "Installation - Install Android-x86 to harddisk".
- Once the process is complete, switch to "Create/ Modify Partitions".
- Now click on "New" > "Primary" > "Bootable" and finally on "Write".
- Confirm by pressing the [Z] key, because in Virtualbox [Y] and [Z] are swapped.
- Now click on "Quit" and select "sda1".
