Samsung Note 10: Hotspot - how to share your Internet
In order to have access to the Internet connection of your Samsung Note 10 from other devices, you need to set up the smartphone as a hotspot. There are several methods to choose from for this, which also depend on which device you want to share the Internet connection with.
Samsung Note 10: How to set up a WLAN hotspot
With a hotspot, you can share your Samsung Note 10's Internet connection with other devices such as a PC or tablet. Before that, however, you need to activate the hotspot function and set it up via the device's settings.- To do this, open the Samsung Note 10's Settings app by clicking on the "gear icon" in the app overview.
- In the settings, then navigate to "Connections" > "Mobile Hotspot and Tethering" > "Mobile Hotspot" and tap on the "Configure Mobile Hotspot" entry.
- Set a name as well as a password for your hotspot there and click "Save" to complete the setup.
- After you have activated the "Mobile Hotspot Tethering" option, you can use the hotspot and connect other devices to it.
