Turn off Fitbit: How to be on the go without the tracker
Turning off the Fitbit device every now and then has its advantages. Although the device no longer records your activities in this situation, battery life can be saved. Depending on the device, you turn off the Fitbit in different ways.
Turn off Fitbit: Settings in the menu
Depending on the model, Fitbit's trackers can be turned off differently.- You can turn off the Fitbit Blaze and Fitbit Surge via the menu. To do this, first navigate to "Settings".
- On the Blaze now scroll to the option "Turn off", while on the Fitbit Surge swipe across the display until this selection option appears.
- Confirm the process and the respective device turns off.
- To turn Fitbit Blaze or Fitbit Surge back on, press any button.
- If, for example, the time is incorrect when you turn on the Fitbit Tracker Blaze, synchronize it.
- Fitbit Ionic and Fitbit Versa can be turned off by opening "Settings" on the watch. Under "Info", select the sub-item "Turn off". Confirm the process here as well.
Turn off Fitbit Flyer and One
You can also turn off Fitbit Flyer and One:- You turn off the Fitbit One by first connecting the device to the charging cable. Then press and hold the One's button for ten to twelve seconds until the One is off. To turn it back on, press the button for a few seconds.
- To turn off Fitbit Flyer, press and hold the power button until the light changes color.
- The headphones will automatically turn off once you have not listened to music or made a phone call for ten minutes.
