Honor 20: Bluetooth - how it works

The Honor 20 supports Bluetooth to connect other devices wirelessly to the smartphone. However, using Bluetooth to share data is only possible if you have previously enabled the feature and paired the devices.

This is how you activate the Bluetooth function on the Honor 20

In order to connect a device such as headphones, speakers, PC or another mobile device wirelessly to the Honor 20, the smartphone has a Bluetooth function. You can activate or deactivate this by swiping down from the status bar on the Honor 20's home screen and tapping the "Bluetooth icon". Then, press and hold the Bluetooth icon to open the feature's settings screen and select the device you want to pair with the Honor 20 under "Available".

Honor 20: How to share and receive files via Bluetooth

Once you have connected your Honor 20 to a PC or another smartphone, you then have the option to share existing files via Bluetooth.

1. For this to work, please open the Files app of the Honor 20 and press and hold the file.
2. Gehen Sie anschließend zu „Mehr“ > „Teilen“ > „Bluetooth“ und tippen Sie auf den Namen des Geräts, mit dem Sie die Datei teilen möchten, um sie zu senden.
3. Um Dateien nicht nur zu teilen, sondern auch zu empfangen, öffnen Sie bei aktiviertem Bluetooth zunächst die Schnellzugriffsanzeige.
4. Wählen Sie in dieser anschließend „Annehmen“ aus, um eine an das Honor 20 gesendete Datei zu empfangen.
