Asus Zenfone 6: Suppress phone number

How to suppress the display of your phone number on the Asus Zenfone 6

By default, the phone number of your Asus Zenfone 6 is transmitted when you use the device to make calls. Depending on whether the person you are calling has saved your number on the phone, either your number or your name will then appear on the device. If, on the other hand, you do not want the person you are calling to know your number or know that you are calling, you have the option of suppressing the display of the phone number.

1. To permanently suppress the display of your phone number, please first open the phone app of the Asus Zenfone 6.
2. In this then open the menu by tapping on the "three-dot icon" and navigate to "Settings" > "Call" > "Additional settings".
3. There, select the entry "Caller ID" and tap on the option "Suppress phone number".

Asus Zenfone 6: Suppress phone number via code

As an alternative to the way via the menu, you can also suppress your phone number via GSM code. This approach is especially recommended if you only want to suppress the transmission of your number for a single call. To use this method, please open the dialpad of the Asus Zenfone 6 and first enter the code #31# and then the phone number you want to call.
