Samsung Galaxy A90: Suppress phone number

When you make a call with your Samsung Galaxy A90, your phone number is shown to the called party on the display by default. However, by suppressing your number, you can also make anonymous calls. You can find out which methods are available for caller ID suppression here.

How to suppress your phone number on Samsung Galaxy A90

By default, your phone number is transmitted when you make a call with Samsung Galaxy A90. However, it is also possible to make a call without the called party knowing your phone number. To do this, you just need to make a change in the phone settings.
  1. First, open the phone app of the Samsung Galaxy A90 by tapping on the phone icon.
  2. In the phone app, then navigate to the menu and select the option "Settings".
  3. Now tap in the phone settings first on "Additional services" and then on "Show own phone number" to select that you want to hide your number.
  4. To undo the number suppression, go to "Settings" > "Additional services" > "Show own phone number" again and tap on the option "Show number".

Samsung Galaxy A90: Suppress phone number via code

Alternatively to the number suppression via the settings, you can also hide your phone number via code entry. This is especially recommended if you only want to suppress your number for a single call. To use this method, first enter the GSM code #31# before typing the number to call.
