Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus: Suppress number
If you do not want the person you are calling to know your number, you can make a call with suppressed number. To do this, either use one-time number suppression by entering #31# at the beginning of the number or suppress the number permanently.
How to suppress the phone number on the Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus?
The Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus uses the Android operating system. On it, you can easily suppress your phone number via the settings.- Open the settings of your smartphone by opening the corresponding app.
- Navigate to the "Device Settings" option in the settings.
- Here you go further to "Call settings" or "more settings".
- Under the item "Show own phone number" you will find the options "Show number" and "Hide number".
- You can also access the settings via the phone icon of your phone. Just click on the three small dots while the phone menu is open.
- Then go further to "Phone" and uncheck the option "Transmit phone number".
- You can also simply write the combination #31# in front of the number. Simply enter "#31#<phone number of the person you want to call>" in your cell phone and the phone number is suppressed once.
